The Auberge is a hotel like none other! Only the stars shining in the Languedoc sky are there to guide you and our concept – “guest rooms” – doesn’t fit into to any hotel classification. The spirit of the place is rather “stress-free guest rooms,” closer to that of a grand old family home, where life is good and lived in total simplicity and no fuss.
The rooms have no TV, no telephone, no mini-bar nor any other technological signs of the times: we’re committed to keep the Auberge as “low-tech” as possible. Nevertheless, you can connect to the WiFi, whenever you want…
In the same spirit, we check/clean your room every three days – and we’re relying on your ecological concerns so that you would use your towels more than one time. We believe it is a form of common sense, which also contributes to maintain reasonable rates, while maintaining your privacy.

The Auberge offers 13 rooms with their private bathroom, garden or garrigue side, all carefully fitted in this beautiful house at the heart of Pic St Loup in an authentic and warm atmosphere.
We have a room accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

The “garden room” becomes ” the cedar suite”.
This is a 60m2 room outside the main building and opening directly onto the garden. It has a small ground floor terrace which used to be the former fountain. It is composed of a lounge area,2-bedroom alcoves with 2 beds each.
Located at the heart of the garden, it is ideal for families.

This bedroom is situated in the oldest part of the building with a beautiful stone staircase (13th century). It’s private bathroom is a few steps away in the corridor.

the breakfast
After a good night sleep at the Auberge du Cedre and for a good start of the day, discover our breakfast buffet served between 8 am and 10.30 am.
You will able to enjoy our selection of breads from our local baker in Saint Mathieu de Tréviers, the home-made cake, the fresh fruit salad, cheeses and ham, honey from the local beekeeper in Claret ( Les Délices de Maya) and of course tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit juices.
Then make yourself comfortable inside in the former orangery or on our beautiful terraces for the morning light on the park and cedar tree.
The evening menu, just like home
In the evenings at the Auberge du Cèdre, after a day of relaxing or exploring our beautiful surroundings, come and put your feet up under the table in a warm atmosphere where the conviviality of a dish to be shared is the order of the day. Our chef offers tasty home cooking with a unique home-cooked menu.
We can provide a vegetarian menu, or any other diets or allergies – on request! Let us know as soon as possible so that we can adapt to your particular needs.
Very popular with our guests, this menu can be booked for €24 and is included in the half-board package (for stays of 2 nights or more). On weekday evenings, the restaurant is reserved for guests staying at the Auberge.
