booking conditions
Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay.
The deposit can be paid by transfer (all charges to be borne by the sender) or by bank card – CARTE BLEUE, VISA, MASTERCARD (please tell us, you will receive an e-mail from our bank to securely pay online).
Cheques made payable to the Auberge du Cèdre are also permissible; however we ask you to bear in mind the vagaries of the postal system. Transfers from countries outside of the eurozone are penalized by exorbitant banking charges; we can only take account of the amount which is actually credited to our bank account. Within the eurozone, use a SEPA transfer.
In the case of a written cancellation (by confirmed email, fax or letter, as attested by date on postmark) at least 8 weeks before the start of your stay, your deposit will be returned, after deduction of a €30 handling fee. For any cancellation between 8 and 4 weeks prior to the start of the stay, 50% of the deposit will be retained. For cancellations made less than five weeks before the start of the stay, the deposit is no longer reimbursable.
You can make adjustments to your stay if suitable rooms are available, up to two weeks before the start of your stay. After this time, any cancelled services are charged at 30%. By adjustment we mean any change that is less than 25% of the total cost (including taxes) of the planned stay. If services cancelled are more than 25% of the total cost of the stay, then normal cancellation conditions apply. If you cancel during your stay, the cost of your room (excluding meals and breakfasts) for the number of nights cancelled is due in full.
We always do our utmost to re-let the room for the cancelled nights. In this case we will reimburse you with the amounts corresponding to the nights we have been able to re-let, less €30 handling fee.
The rooms are available from 4pm on the day of your arrival and should be vacated by 11am on the day of your departure.
A tourist tax will be added to the price of your stay. This tax will be collected by the Auberge, on behalf of the Communauté de Communes du Grand Pic Saint-Loup and the Conseil Départemental de l’Hérault. This tax is based on the type of accommodation and the number of people (here for details).
